Lize Mogel
Lize Mogel is an interdisciplinary artist and independent curator
who works with issues of public space and cultural geography.
Her recent public artwork, "Public Green", can be seen in transit
shelters all over Los Angeles. This and other work suggests the
transfer of land from private to public domain, and asks the viewer
to take an active role in the production of public space. For
the past 3 years, she has been an active member of the Center
for Land Use Interpretation. Mogel is also a founding member of
Nomads + Residents_LA.
